WHERE WE ARE HEADING

Bremer Bay! It’s truly one of Western Australia’s best-kept secrets. One of those rare places where rugged wilderness meets spectacular coastline, and vast landscapes of land, sea and sky feel wonderfully far removed from everyday life.

WHERE WE STAY

A peaceful bushland escape on the Point Henry Peninsula, with sweeping views across the Southern Ocean.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Five days and four extraordinary nights in Bremer Bay, home of extraordinary whale-watching, with just six adventurous women. There’ll be spontaneous swims in turquoise waters, walks along pristine beaches and sunset dips in water so soft you’ll never want to leave. Snorkeling (with a scuba option) in search of the elusive weedy seadragon, long-table dinners and a movie night. Plus a daytrip to the remarkable Fitzgerald River National Park. This charming coastal town will quietly capture your heart.

WHAT TO GET EXCITED ABOUT…

After long days in the water, you will love home-cooked meals.

FIVE DAYS & FOUR NIGHTS

Make the Point Henry Peninsula your home for five days - The pinnacle of natural beauty and relaxation.

ENJOY MEALS BY OUR PRIVATE CHEF

YOUR SECRET HIDEAWAY

We have chosen the perfect space with ocean views to share and enjoy time together. Set over 11 acres of native bushland with spectacular 270-degree panoramic views across Dillon Bay and the Southern Ocean, this home is the pinnacle of relaxation and natural beauty.

We’ll be spending four nights here, enjoying tasty, healthy homestyle food by our inhouse chef at our long table. This house is all about ocean views, indoor and outdoor spaces and laid-back living.

ACCOMMODATION

YOUR SPACE

  • 2 x master bedrooms with king beds and ocean views (private rooms)

  • 2 x bedrooms with queen and single bed and nature views (twin share - perfect for solo female travelers sharing a room, with your own bed.)

  • 2 x bathrooms

FOOD MADE WITH LOVE

Good food brings people together. Some of the best conversations happen around a kitchen bench during dinner prep, or gathered around a long table (especially when there are ocean views like these) after a day of oceanic adventure.

We’ll enjoy fresh, tasty home-cooked meals courtesy of your own private chef and caterer Freya, including locally caught fresh fish. Simple, healthy food made with care.

There may even be a surprise picnic along the way.

Friendships are formed around food, so our meals are a communal affair.

EATING LIKE A LOCAL

Eating out is obviously not just about sampling the local flavours, it’s about experiencing life as the locals live it.

Our foodie venues have been selected because the food is great and the setting in which we sit is equally as wonderful. One such stop is The Telegraph Cafe – it can’t be beaten for food and location.

We have one breakfast, one lunch and coffee and cake to be sampled about town. The rest is inhouse…

With a view and delectable flavours to match, we are pretty confident The Telegraph Cafe can’t be beaten.

THE ADVENTURE

SNAPSHOT ITINERARY

DAY ONE / HELLO! We meet in Fremantle, then head off on our roadtrip… You haven’t experienced West Oz in true fashion without a road trip. Leaving the city behind, watch the landscape unfold into rural Western Australia – rolling farmland, native eucalypts, peaceful country roads and the striking Stirling Ranges drawing your eyes to the horizon. Get to know your fellow adventurers and feel the layers of everyday life gently fall away as we journey towards beautiful Bremer Bay.

DAY TWO / ALL ABOUT ORCAS 8.30am the Alison Maree departs for the Bremer Canyon Killer Whale Expedition with Naturaliste Charters, including lunch on board.

DAY THREE / NATIONAL PARKS 7am start to head to the Fitzgerald River National Park’s Mt Maxwell lookout, Point Ann and West Mount Baron. You will hike, swim, snorkel and take in jaw-dropping vistas. Then we enjoy a very special movie made in Bremer in the evening.

DAY FOUR / SNORKLING & SEADRAGONS 7.30am start before heading off on a seadragon hunt. Those who want to scuba dive may do so. This is an easy day of water, cafes and surprises. We have gallery tours, a lunch date and enjoying some of the local watering holes to talk about our experiences.

DAY FIVE / RELAXATION Sunrise anyone? It culminates in a Farewell sunrise on the beach. Anyone want to eat breakfast out? Just for the pleasure of it?! Then a relaxing swim or lounge about the house. You won’t want to leave...

Meals are thoughtfully balanced between eating out, always with a view, catering, easy, nutritious and tasty. Aussie picnics and an evening of locally caught fish sourced directly from the local fish factory – fresh and very much part of coastal life here.

WHAT MAKES BREMER BAY SPECIAL?

Bremer Bay is a place where simple pleasures feel the most meaningful and life feels wonderfully easy. It invites you to slow down, breathe deeply and feel the joy of simply being outdoors.

We come to Bremer for the people as much as the place. It’s about bringing good people together to share knowledge, life experience and the adventure.

There are friendly locals who invite you into their home, garden and gallery; and you may meet a fisherman who has spent his life on the ocean with stories of orca swimming (always anti-clockwise) around his boat, and sleeping with one eye open.

You’ll leave with unforgettable memories, a sense of quiet awe, glistening eyes and a smile that lingers a long, long time after the waves fade.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Mornings may begin with a swim. Afternoons invite rest or quiet exploration. Evenings are for long‑table dinners, sunsets, movie nights, star‑filled skies and surprise picnics in beautiful places.

Slip beneath the surface to snorkel or simply soak up the beauty of this spectacular coastline.

For scuba divers, there will be an opportunity for a morning shore dive with Bremer Bay Dive (optional). Keep an eye out for the elusive weedy seadragon – among the region’s most sought-after marine encounters.

WHAT TO EXPLORE

Water is a way of life – nature’s wonderland of glassy shallows, turquoise water, shaded coves, limestone cliffs, dolphins, pelicans and black swans gliding by, not to mention hidden pockets of paradise even locals may not know.

This trip is an invitation to discover West Aussie local culture by the water. A rare, intimate, feel-good adventure where you get to live like a local, breathe deeper, smile wider and live the joy of simple, salty, sun-kissed days.

THE BREMER CANYON

Guided by the expert team at Naturaliste Charters, every journey is both educational and deeply moving.

The largest member of the oceanic dolphin family, orcas combine intelligence, strength and sophisticated social bonds. Living in matriarchal family groups, knowledge is passed from older females to younger generations. As the apex predator, Bremer Bay orcas have become internationally recognised for their remarkable offshore hunting behaviour, making this one of the most exciting places in the world to observe these extraordinary animals in their natural environment.

We journey to the edge of the continental shelf and the Bremer Canyon, a remote deep-water ecosystem that draws one of the most incredible marine gatherings on Earth between January and April.

Orcas return here in large numbers, alongside long-finned pilot whales, sperm whales, beaked whales, sharks, giant squid and abundant oceanic birdlife.

The Fitzgerald River National Park

This globally recognised biosphere is rich in endemic plants, wildflowers all year round and sweeping coastal views.

We explore lookouts; wander, swim and snorkel Point Ann; a nature walk to West to Mount Barren for elevated views across untouched country. Here, land, sea and sky meet in every direction. It’s one of Western Australia’s most spectacular natural landscapes.
